With over 20 years experience spent working in the biomedical field and a doctorate in neuroscience, Kristina approaches massage and therapy from a scientific standpoint.
As a lover of the mountains and everything outdoors, Kristina decided to change her career path and use her skills and experience in a way that will allow others to enjoy the Alps as much as she does.
Her work is entirely personalised to the individual and she believes in massage therapy to help prevent injury as well as to relieve tension and pain developed through sports and everyday life.
Kristina is a highly qualified masseuse with a BTec level 5 in Soft Tissue therapy, a ITec level 3 in Holistic and Sports therapy. She is passionate about her practice and offers a mobile service in Morzine and the surrounding areas.
Whilst Kristina’s practice is sports therapy focused, she also offers deep tissue massage and relaxing massage for individuals and groups.
Ranging from a 45, 60 or 90 minute session, Kristina offers relaxation massages which are aimed at reducing stress through light to medium pressure.
Offered at the same session durations, sports massage is a deeper practice that focuses on areas of tension from overexertion. It aims to aid recovery and address muscle imbalances caused by sporting activities.
Similarly, deep tissue massage also tends to focus on specific areas of tension but within the soft tissue as opposed to the muscle. These can be knots or pains caused by lifestyle factors such as working at a desk.
Kristina ensures that every one of her client’s individual needs are discussed and provided for. Depending on your needs, different practices can be combined in order to achieve the best result for your body. For group bookings Kristina offers a discounted price and also has the option to buy massage gift vouchers for loved ones in need of some massage therapy.
