Find a sense of calm by exploring the bloom of wild mountain flowers, hiking through magnificent Swiss Alps and deepening your breath with yoga and meditation
Allow yourself to escape to Switzerland's breathtaking mountain ranges where you can uncover secluded forests, lakes and loud river streams. During our mindful hikes, yoga and meditation practices you will be guided to let go of everything that doesn’t serve you right now.
Complement these activities with nourishing, high-quality cuisine and luxurious spa amenities. This retreat is designed for a select group of women who are eager to embrace outdoor experiences, enjoy snowshoeing, and appreciate being part of a small community.
This quiet time of the year is well known for wild flowers blooming in the Alps. While exploring some flowers for the very first time you might question yourself Where and How would You like to bloom?
During our guided mindful hikes and walks, we’ll enjoy the beauty of the late spring landscape. We will slow down by observing endless forests, crystal clear lakes and mountain peaks that are still covered with melting snow. We will open up the senses and listen to loud river streams and bird songs.
Together with your mountain guide, Ruta, you’ll find your own walking rhythm and practise connecting to nature by observing your thoughts and senses.
These tools will help you slow down and stay centered to fully enjoy the present moment. Ruta will carefully select routes with easy to moderate climbs.
Deepen your yoga practice with daily yoga and meditation classes. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an advanced yogi, this programme will help you awaken the potential within yourself, through Vinyasa, Hatha and Restorative Yin yoga methods, led by Ruta, a qualified yoga instructor.
Sessions take place in a beautiful studio located in a quiet corner of the garden, which benefits from the mountain sunlight and is perfect for practising in small groups.
The retreat participants will be residing in a century-old, historic hotel situated in the heart of the Swiss Engadin mountains. This hotel, with its rich heritage, has undergone renovations and now boasts Art Deco features.
The rooms offer stunning views of the mountains, with a south-facing orientation ensuring that all guests have a mountain view. The grand Art Nouveau dining hall, as well as the well-preserved original public spaces such as the ladies' lounge, library, bar, and former hotel kitchen, will transport you back in time and remind you of the hotel's history and its connection to the town.
Our guests can access the brand new SPA facilities in the hotel. The sauna is housed in the historical ice cellar, where once blocks of ice from Lake Palpuogna were stored to maintain the Kurhaus food's coolness in summer.
The guests can now relax in a modern sauna nestled in a 120-year-old environment with stamped concrete and stream gravel from the Tuors stream bed.
After a relaxing sauna session, you can refresh yourself in the cold water pool fed by the Albula mineral water "Ava da Bravuogn" and "Ava Cuetschna". A stroll in the fresh air between sauna sessions is always recommended. You can unwind and recharge in the rest pavilion and recreation room.
